kim recently made a sharp right turn on the path of life, deciding to stay at home with her three (yes three!) children as a full time mom. after 15 years as an information architect and marketing professional, she often contemplates what is harder work, the kids or a career! kim enjoys beer, a good nap, and being by the water – none of which she gets to do very often. this means she appreciates it more when she does!
jessie works for a local consulting firm by day then travels, kayaks, reads, cooks, laughs, writes by night. admitted pop culture junkie raised on usa night flight, mtv, endless hours of college radio, and her home away from home at thursdays. also admits dating her husband because she thought he looked like a beastie boy – we all have our weaknesses. besides home in the fake country, her two favorite places to be are on the water or in the city.
penny is the resident fashionista of the group she keeps everyone enlightened, and is never at loss with comments or a snappy remark … she keeps the group laughing. although currently working for a large corporate organization, she longs for the day when she’s “the captain” of her own journey. music is the conductor of her life, and she recently found her way in the fitness landscape. but nothing is better than being surrounded by her friends … the family she chooses!
